As we continue the course of awakening, many things are brought forth upon us. Certain needs, lusts, cares and thoughts; these are in actuality our body reacting to the positive reinforcement we are showering it with. A sad fact of our modern day is simply that most people are so in touch with rushing by the world to get where they are going, that at the time they get there; all they’ve experienced is the rush of passing all the good things by. When we learn to control our pace of life, we begin to experience a greater need for taking time out for ourselves; so we may understand life for what it truly is, as opposed to simply going with the unnatural paths so many take. People often make excuses for the things they hold for granted in their lives; a majority of people extend their excuses around the needs which society has deemed so important to us. The pacing of time, the disallowance of excuses to influence our lives, and learning of the natural course; these are all things to learn in time, for the beginning is here to teach the very basic fundamentals of all these things.
No thing at all in this world is worth learning unless it can be learnt for the self, in a very personal and powerful manner. As with the world again however, most will not adhere themselves towards the elevation of who they are; for they feel they are good and strong by the things they’ve experienced, yet in comparison to what the world knows; they are hardly even a blink of an eye. Imagine if you can, a scroll written of the events of your life; place it upon a shelf alongside the writings of every person you’ve ever known or read of. Prolong the expance of this shelf towards the years you, or any person you’ve ever met will be remembered, and multiply that number of lives by the years they’ve lived. If you understand the meaning of all this, compare it towards the infinite lives and minutes of all that who have ever lived; and even that number would hardly cause a ripple in the vast understanding of all life through time passed, even on our planet in the past few years humanity has existed. This is a small testament towards the knowledge which we can learn, and yet still so many believe they truly understand a thing; simply because at one time in their life, they glimpsed the writings of another, and perhaps thought of something they deemed unique.
If indeed there was a unique thought procured, it would be so profound that it would change all the world in whatever manner it was formed. It would appear within the minds of thousands of people at the moment it was brought forth, for deep down we all share the same balance towards the pooling of our knowledge within the mainstream of the world. Thoughts hold no boundaries of time, they are simply the keepers of what we know, at a time when a thought is brought forth, it is done so repeatedly over vast expanses of time. We cannot keep an idea or thought secret from the world; at least no thought of importance, yet there are many things which of course hold no importance towards anything; aspects of existance which fade and disapate. Our lives are an aspect which fades, yet is immersed within time; even the greatest of people we’ve read of are barely a glimpse towards who they truly were; and it would take us an entire lifetime to account of the knowledge and paths of another. For that is the exact time it took to live out that life, perhaps these words make little sense. As time progresses you will see how they are of vast importance, and how they will heal and bring forth a better sense of identity, culture, ambition and overall greatness towards who we are.
Wisdom is measured only by the accountance of understanding that which we do not know..

wow. This is actually interesting…waiting to read more..
Great writing and important subject matter; thanks for posting this!
I’ve learned in recent years that most people are sincere and generally want good things to happen in life, and they simply have their facts wrong, or were “going along with” other’s beliefs against their own better judgement— ie, they’ve bought-into SOMEBODY ELSE’S beliefs along the way. They’ve adopted philosophies that are in conflict with their own hearts.
Culture and society is like an out-of-control bus with 7 billion hands all grasping at the wheel at once. Our sense of perspective has gotten lost along the way, and to anyone who can re-discover perspective it truly does feel like an awakening. It DOES feel like you’ve crawled out of a pit or a deep well, and it DOES make you look at people differently, forever after.
It’s a hard topic to articulate, but you did a very good job getting it out, and also “showing it” through your poem. Like you said, the words don’t necessarily exist, do they?
