When you are far away from home
And the people you used to love and hold
Calm and serenity, you they evade
Your heart feels cut off and cheated
From the generous shower of love
Kindness and care of your kindred
It is definitely heart rending
But then,
Sometimes the bonds have to be broken
Times like these have to happen
For our minds they [...]

Live life as it comes
Because no one ever knows
Whether or not tomorrow comes
The line is very thin and taut
Between the day and night
Of our miserable lives and death
And no one can ever visualize
When, where and how the state of demise
Will, and inevitably this, arise
But in the unavoidable event of this

At times quietly offering comfort
He no longer listens to my command
Trailing behind me, resolving my torts
 
He no longer walks me home during late nights
No longer bridge himself on the corner of my lips
I can no longer speak of my darkest sights
Blame my raucous behaviours on the eclipse
