Yes there are many science theories and sometimes people confuse them with truths and reality but it is not always so. You should not limit yourself simply because a person told you not to pursue it. God is only the love you have and the love you can share, you have the free will to do anything you want even if it kills you. I do agree that many science related truths are false because they are only theories and the media loves to print new theories before they are proven. I go by the old adage, "do not believe anything you hear and only 50% of what you read." By these words only believe 50% of what you have just read so I am agreeing with you on 50% of what you have written. Have peace and keep writing never let critics stop you from what "you" want to do.
