In my opinion, it's HARDER to write something positive like this. Society frowns on public displays of positive words. (Yet trashing the world is so easy to do that it's no longer even sporting!) As a reader, I tend to empathize with a piece like this. There is no mushy "Hallmark" sentimentality here, just the same raw feelings as before, but you've given your words a more optimistic edge. It comes across as honest, heartfelt and true. I don't always get the same "sincere" feeling from your darker material. Just my opinion. You write well. JPD- (unpublished in every medium!)
